With ACOM's scan utility and workstation, you can scan-in paper documents and add indexed fields to be able to search for and retrieve them when needed.

EZImager simplifies and expedites the importing of your paper documents into ACOM's EZContentManager document management system.

EZImager in 3 steps:

  1. Create a document zone template (once).

    Forget indexing scanned documents manually. With EZImager, users simply set up zone templates once for each document type. Zone templates automate the organized storage and easy retrieval of scanned OCR, ICR (handwritten) and barcoded documents.

    For example, a zone template for an invoice might include an invoice number, invoice date, vendor number and shipping number.

  2. Review scanned documents and correct, if necessary.

  3. Check documents into EZContentManager.

    Check-in documents in batches: users can scan-in document types into batch files throughout the day and check them into EZContentManager later, all at one time.

Once a document is captured in this manner, it’s easy for a service representative to quickly find it, and promptly respond to a customer inquiry.
