EDI Software Overview

EDI Integration

EZConnect integrates EDI, EDIFACT and XML data with a wide range of ERP and MRP systems, including Epicor, Infor, MAPICS, Oracle and SAP. It also supports the unique requirements found in most "home grown" applications.

With EZConnect you have two options for integrating EDI data into your business application:

Integration Method 1:
Read and write directly to the DB tables through ODBC: EZConnect will interact directly with the business application’s database.

EDI Integration Method 1

Integration Method 2:
Create intermediate files to be imported and exported by your business application: Transfer files between EZConnect and your System i using FTP, NetServer, or Client Access.

EDI Integration Method 2

The method you choose for integration ultimately depends on what the business application will allow. If method one is used, EZConnect will interact directly with the business application’s database. If method two is used, files are transfered between EZConnect and your business application through your network. The business application takes care of importing and exporting the files to/from the database.

“EDI saved the accounting folks a lot of headaches relating to paper invoices, very little resending is now necessary, and 98 percent of the invoices are paid without retransmittal. Days sales outstanding with large-order customers have been dramatically improved and things happen faster and more efficiently.”

“ACOM’s support has been great – they’re always there with an answer if we need them.”
