EZDesigner/400 is the innovative GUI document design tool for EZeDocs/400 (and EZPayManager/400) that allows you to create sophisticated and professional looking business documents, checks and barcode labels.

EZDesigner/400 is easily mastered with intuitive text and graphics tools much like those available in today's popular word processing software packages. You can visually manipulate data fields into various page locations, choose your favorite font sizes, styles, and colors.

 

Here's How it Works

  1. Choose the type of document/template that you want to create… Form, Check or Label.
  2. Select the basic document setup (page size, orientation, etc.).
  3. Select the printer and print driver you will be using.
  4. Adding commands or objects to the document is a simple click-and-drag process -- select the element you want from the tool bar, then use the mouse to click-and-drag, creating the object on the screen.
  5. Mapping your iSeries spool file data (or data files) is easy. First, you link your document to your iSeries (AS/400) spool file. You can now see the document you are designing as well as the spool data, on the same screen. Use the mouse to click-and-drag areas of text to be mapped onto your document.
  6. Upload and store the form template onto your iSeries. Then whenever necessary, “Auto-Merge” these templates with your production spool files, to print, email, fax or archive the final documents.
