- The 3250N and 4510NMICR printers come with a key-lock that has 3 positions/modes:
- "MICR On" -- to print secure MICR documents (engages the MICR toner cartridge)
- "MICR Off" -- to print non-MICR documents
- "Printer Off" -- to disable all printing capabilities
- The 4510N MICR printer can also be purchased with additional security options:
- Security Drive -- a removable secure USB drive that can be removed after each payment run, for secure storage of signatures and MICR font
